Custom Color Ordering Process
1. Review Pricing
- A set-up fee is applied for each color per order plus a unit price for each cover plate. Please contact a representative for exact pricing.
2. Select Quantity and Specifications
- Choose the quantity, size, shape, and temperature range for your desired items.
3. Custom or Mixed Formula Paint
- Indicate whether you want us to use a custom formula, mixed formula paint, or a standard option from a manufacturer. Please note that only water-based paints are accepted.
4. Paint Manufacturer
- List the paint manufacturer (If a standard color choose paint manufacture).
5. Paint Name and Code
- Provide the paint name and paint code.
6. Choose Gloss Level
- Select the gloss level option: flat/matte, eggshell, pearl, satin, semi-gloss, and gloss.
7. Submit Custom Paint
- If using a custom or mixed formula paint, send at least 1 quart of the actual paint to our office. This will be used for production. We only accept the actual paint. Please ensure the paint is water-based.
8. Multi-Colored Surfaces
- For custom color cover plates on multi-colored surfaces like wood grain ceilings, choose a standard paint from any manufacturer or a custom formula paint. If opting for custom formula paint, send at least 1 quart of the actual paint to our office. Ensure the paint is water-based.
9. Complete the Paperwork
- Once we receive your completed form with your signature (and your custom paint if applicable), it will take an estimated 10 business days to complete your order. The set-up fee per color and finished custom color covers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
